Zirconium-based transition metal nanofilms are widely used as hard protective films for stamping machines, instruments, cutting tools, mold parts, etc. because of their excellent properties, such as high hardness. During the hardness test, six matrix indentations with a spacing of about 30μm were carried out on the surface of each film sample.
