The Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS) is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the international conference “Big Data in Official Statistics”. The event is organised in cooperation with the Eurostat and the UNECE. The conference will be held on 25–26 October 2018 in Warsaw (Poland).

The main aim of the conference is to present the current achievements and exchange experience in the use of alternative data sources for the needs of official statistics. The scope of the conference will cover issues such as methodology, quality and IT possibilities of processing and using Big Data.
