Fun in the Snow

雪中趣事

The boys and girls were happy.

男孩和女孩们都很高兴。

They were playing in the snow.

他们在雪里玩。

Some were making snow balls.

有些人在做雪球。

Some were making a snow man on the

hill.

有的在山上堆雪人。

Some were going dowm the hill on a big

new sled.

有些人骑着新买的大雪橇下山。

"Come on, boys,"called Joe.

“来吧，孩子们，”乔叫道。

"Who wants a ride on my sled?"

“谁想坐我的雪橇?”

Two boys jumped on the sled with Joe.

两个男孩和乔一起跳上雪橇。

Away they went down the hill.

他们走下山坡。

Soon Bobby found an old dish-pan in the

snow.

很快，博比在雪地上发现了一个旧的盘子。

"This will make a good sled,he said."  Here I go.

“这将是一个很好的雪橇，”他说

Down, dowm the hill went Bobby in the

old dish-pan.

鲍比在一个旧盘子里往山下跑。

He went this way and that way!

他往这边走，往那边走!

Round and round, faster and faster!

一圈又一圈，越来越快。

Then over went the dish-pan, and out went Bobby.

然后盘子翻了过去，波比走了出去。

Over and over he went in the snow.

他一遍又一遍地在雪地里走。

How the children laughed!

孩子们笑得多么开心。

Bobby laughed, too.

博比也笑了。

"That was a fine ride," he said.

“那是一次很好的旅程，”他说。

"The old dish-pan makes a good sled.

“这个旧盘子当雪橇很好”他说。

"Let me ride,"said Betty.

“让我骑吧，”贝蒂说。

"Let me ride next,"'said Alice.

“下一个让我骑吧，”爱丽丝说

All the children wanted to ride in the old

dish-pan.

所有的孩子都想坐在那个旧的盘子里。

Down the hill they went, this way and

that way.

他们以不同路线滑下山去。

Some fell out in the snow and went over

and over.

有些掉到雪地里，一遍又一遍地跑。

What a good time they had!

他们玩得多开心啊！

Soon there was a big round hole in the

old dish-pan.

不久，那个旧盘子上出现了一个大圆洞。

The children could not ride in it.

孩子们不能在里面骑。

Bobby ran to the snow man and put the

dish-pan on his head.

博比跑到雪人跟前，把旧盘子戴在了雪人头上。

The children said, "The dish-pan makes a fine hat for him.

孩子们说:“这个盘子可以给他做一顶漂亮的帽子。

Now his head will not be cold.

现在他的头不会冷了。

Then they all ran home.

然后他们都跑回家。
