Preface
On the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the two ancient civilizations of the East and West are composing a new chapter of cultural integration. The thousand-year-old Silk Road has been a bond of friendship, and the dialogue between ancient and modern times has continued the friendship. Art has always been a solid bridge connecting the hearts of the two peoples and enhancing mutual appreciation between civilizations.
In this special feature, we proudly introduce the Cultural Exchange Art Ambassadors for the 56th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy. They use art as a medium, integrating Eastern artistic conception with Western elegance, conveying the beauty of civilized coexistence through their masterful works, and continue to write the story of friendship between the two countries with sincerity and commitment.
They are the guardians of Chinese cultural heritage and the practitioners of Sino-Italian cultural exchanges. 王芝意，字福生，号义仁，生于 1948 年,甘肃白银人。中国楹联学会会员，中国高级书画创作师、中国国家一级书法师、中华人民共和国书法大家、国际殿堂级艺术大师、世界文学界功勋艺术家、CCTV 央视书画频道签约艺术家、中国实力派书画家、高级工程师。现任中国书画家协会副主席，中央美术学院书法系客座教授、中国硬笔书法协会副教授、国宝级央新名人档案：“特聘名誉主席”、中国书画艺术非遗传承委员会常务副主席、中央电视台 CCTV 文化强国“高级智库首席专家”沈鹏书法艺术工作室专家组高级理事、美丽中国栏目组特邀导师、中华文化促进会美育工作委员会艺术顾问、中国书画交易中心艺委会主席、中国国际艺术馆名誉馆长、中国一品堂书院名誉院长。退休于甘肃中医药大学。出版的学术专著有《敦煌外治法》、《释商》——事业·人生·思想。
近年来，先后多次获得书法展奖励和荣誉称号、 2021 年6 月由中国书画家协会和中国国际文学艺术界联合会授予“中国实力派书画家” 荣誉称号。2021 年 8 月，由中国文学艺术界联合会和中国文化发展中心授予：2021“艺术传承人物”。2021 年 11 月由中国书画家协会聘为：“副主席”。
2022 年 1 月由中国文化艺术人才库专家评审组审核通过授予：“2021 年度优秀文艺工作者”。2022 年 1 月经中国文学艺术界联合会审定授予：“中国书画艺术家百佳人物”荣誉称号。2022 年 3 月由中华国礼艺术评定中心和艺术家查询中心授予：“特别推荐艺术家荣誉称号”并颁发了荣誉证书。2022年 4 月被聘为：“沈鹏书法艺术工作室专家组高级理事"一职。2022 年 7 月 1 日由中央电视台 CCTV 文化强国智库专家评审组委会评审为：“智库首席专家”。22 年 8 月 2 日由中国研创非物质文化遗产授予：“全国第一批非物质文化遗产创新人才”荣誉称号。2022 年 12 月由中国艺术名家交流中心授予“中国当代世界级艺术家”称号。

Wang Zhiyi, also known as Fusheng and Yiren, was born in 1948 in Baiyin, Gansu Province. He is a member of the China Couplet Society, a senior calligraphy and painting artist in China, a national first-level calligraphy master in China, a master of calligraphy in the People's Republic of China, an international hall-of-fame art master, a meritorious artist in the world literary community, a contracted artist of CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel, a prominent calligraphy and painting artist in China, and a senior engineer. He currently serves as the vice chairman of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a visiting professor of the Calligraphy Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, an associate professor of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, and is listed in the national treasure-level archives of the Central New Celebrities as a "specially appointed honorary chairman". He is also the executive vice chairman of the China Calligraphy and Painting Art Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Committee, a senior director of the expert group of Shen Peng Calligraphy Art Studio, a special mentor of the Beautiful China column team, an art consultant of the Aesthetic Education Working Committee of the China Cultural Promotion Association, the chairman of the Art Committee of the China Calligraphy and Painting Trading Center, the honorary director of the China International Art Museum, and the honorary dean of the China Yipin Tang Academy. He retired from Gansu University of Chinese Medicine. His published academic works include "Dunhuang External Treatment Methods" and "Interpreting Commerce" - Career, Life, and Thought.
In recent years, he has repeatedly received awards and honorary titles in calligraphy exhibitions. In June 2021, he was awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Strong-Capability Calligrapher and Painter" by the China Calligraphers and Painters Association and the China International Literature and Art Publishing House. In August 2021, he was awarded the title of "Artistic Heritage Figure" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House and the China Cultural Development Center. In November 2021, he was appointed as the "Vice Chairman" by the China Calligraphers and Painters Association.
In January 2022, he was awarded the title of "Outstanding Literary and Artistic Worker of 2021" after being reviewed and approved by the expert review panel of the Chinese Culture and Art Talent Database. In January 2022, he was granted the honorary title of "Top 100 Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists" upon approval by the China Literature and Art Publishing House. In March 2022, he was awarded the honorary title of "Specially Recommended Artist" by the China National Gift Art Evaluation Center and the Artist Inquiry Center, and was presented with a certificate of honor. In April 2022, he was appointed as a senior director of the expert group of Shen Peng Calligraphy Art Studio. On July 1, 2022, he was selected as the "Chief Expert of the Think Tank" by the expert review panel of the CCTV Cultural Power Think Tank. On August 2, 2022, he was awarded the honorary title of "National First Batch of Intangible Cultural Heritage Innovation Talents" by the China Research and Innovation Intangible Cultural Heritage. In December 2022, he was bestowed with the title of "World-Class Contemporary Chinese Artist" by the China Art Masters Exchange Center.
In March 2023, he was appointed as the "Honorary Director of the China International Art Museum" by the China International Art Museum and the International Culture and Art Exchange Center. In March 2023, he was awarded the title of "Senior Calligraphy and Painting Creator" by the Chinese Traditional Culture Promotion Association and the National Professional Credit Evaluation Network. In May 2023, he was honored with the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Calligraphy and Painting" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House and the National Artists Information Disclosure Center. In October 2023, he was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Calligraphy and Painting Instructor" by the Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Talent Pool for Calligraphy and Painting Art Practitioners. In November 2023, he was invited to serve as a visiting professor in the Calligraphy Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts by the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In November 2023, he was bestowed the honorary title of "Calligraphy Master of the People's Republic of China" by the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Artists Review Committee and the World Art Market Development Center. In December 2023, he was awarded the honorary title of "2023 Chinese Contemporary Art Master" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House and the Chinese Traditional Culture Development Center.
In January 2024, he was awarded the title of "Benchmark of the Times" for Chinese contemporary positive energy artists by the Talent Pool of Calligraphy and Painting Artists and the Official Archives of Chinese Artists. In March 2024, he was honored with the title of "Excellent Talent in Calligraphy and Painting Creation" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House. In July 2024, he was specially awarded the title of "2024 Cultural Brand Figure in Chinese Literature and Art" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House and the CNR International Cultural Exchange Art Committee. In August 2024, he was honored with the title of "Global Ambassador of Chinese Culture" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House, the China Culture and Art Talent Center, and the Chinese Culture Global Promotion Ambassador Evaluation Committee. In August 2024, he was awarded the honorary title of "Top Ten Outstanding Art Figures of the Republic" by the Mao Zedong Thought Academic Research Association and the Chinese Traditional Culture Development Center. In October 2024, he was honored with the title of "World Chinese Art Talent" by the Cultural and Art Talent Center of the People's Republic of China and the Artistic Guidance Committee of the China Literature and Art Publishing House. In November 2024, he was awarded the honorary title of "Top-level Figure in Culture and Art of 2024" by the China Literature and Art Publishing House.
In January 2025, the Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Chinese Culture and Art Center awarded the honorary title of "National Annual Art Model Figure". In February 2025, CCTV specially recommended contemporary artists with collectible potential. In February 2025, the Cultural and Artistic Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture awarded the honorary title of "Master of Art". In March 2025, the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Archive and the Calligraphy and Painting Art Master Data Center Evaluation Committee awarded the "Special Contribution Award for Chinese Culture". In March 2025, the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Committee awarded the honorary title of "Executive Vice Chairman". In March 2025, he was specially appointed as an art mentor by CCTV Huaxia Voice. In May 2025, the Art Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the China Culture and Art Talent Management Center awarded him the honorary title of "Focus 2025 Art Big Name". In May 2025, the Boao Asian Art Research Center and the World Chinese Development Federation awarded him the honorary title of "Top Ten News Figures in the Asian Calligraphy and Painting Field". In June 2025, the China Internet News Center and the National Cultural Information Resource Management Center awarded him the honorary title of "Pioneer of New Era Calligraphy and Painting Art Paradigm". In July 2025, the National Culture and Art Exchange Center, the Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchange Center, and the World Chinese Development Federation awarded him the honorary title of "Gold Medal Winner of World Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists". In July 2025, he was signed as an artist by CCTV's CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel. In July 2025, he was awarded the "Global Art Immortal Monument Award" and the honorary title of "International Hall-of-Fame Art Master" by the Global Art Immortal Monument Award Judging Committee, the China Global Calligraphy and Painting Art Friendship Network, and the Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
