Head-Fi 论坛用户Currawong：“Multiple industry sources have confirmed to me that Sennheiser will unveil a new flagship dynamic headphone positioned above the HD 800S at IFA Berlin in early September. Preliminary specs point to a 42 mm ring-radiator driver with an updated polymer diaphragm and a re-engineered magnet array. Pricing is expected to sit between USD 2 500 – 3 000.”
Head-Fi 管理员jude：“Head-Fi will have a private listening session with the new flagship the evening before the public launch. Attendees will be under NDA for photos, but impressions can be posted after the keynote. We’re told the internal codename is ‘HD 900’, although final naming hasn’t been locked.”
